Hi, I'm Danielle! I am a sophomore Health Services Administration Major with a Spanish Minor at James Madison University. I have a 3.59 G.P.A. and am attending JMU with an scholarship for academic achievement and community involvement.
Experience
I have experience as a tutor (math and English) for middle school students and also experience teaching flute to elementary through high school age students. I am also going to be starting as a tutor for JMU athletes this upcoming fall. I took 5 AP classes during high school (Statistics, Government, U.S. History, English Lit, and English Language) and scored either 4's or 5's on all my exams. My best SAT combination was a 2180, with a 630 in Math, 750 in Critical Reading and an 800 in Writing. Most importantly, I love working with children and teens! I have worked as a camp counselor with outdoor science schools and Girl Scout camps. I have volunteered as a childcare assistant and worked as a babysitter. Overall, I have a large base of knowledge in terms of working with children/teens and understand how to effectively teach and communicate with them.

Hobbies
In my free time I like to enjoy the outdoors, hike, explore Harrisonburg, go to the movies, cook/eat, & spend time with friends. I'm really interested in the Spanish language, travel, and foreign cultures. I have a genuine love for learning and interest in fostering that in kids!
