Experience
I received a 1720 on my SAT test. I also received a 3 on the Calculus AB AP test, a 3 on the Government AP test, a 3 on the World History AP test, and a 4 on the American History AP test in high school. I have an love for History of all kinds, especially American history. Being a tutor would allow me to share this love with other younger students as well as encourage their interest in the subject. In addition as a tutor I would help students create a foundation for subjects like history or government that are often general education classes on the college level. I have personally taken World History at JMU as a part of my General Education requirement. My US History AP score was high enough to give me transfer credit. I also have taken Foundation Math Classes for students who will become teachers on the Elementary level. I have a lot of experience with children, as a nanny for two summers (09&10) for three boys, age 3, 4, and 6. I volunteered in a local Preschool classroom continuously throughout my Sophomore year at JMU. This past summer ('11) I worked in the High School Summer School Program in Howard County, Maryland. I worked as a Paraeducator in a Government classroom, as well as a Secretary in the front office.

Hobbies
I am an active participant in JMU's Catholic Campus Ministry, and spend much of my free time doing various activities there. I make school a top priority and currently hold a 3.6 overall GPA. I honestly enjoy just hanging out with friends, relaxing, and watching TV and movies.
