EducationI am a Sophomore at James Madison University. I am pursuing a double major in Justice Studies and Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication. I am also pursuing a double minor in Creative Writing and Women and Gender Studies.
ExperienceI have completed foreign language requirements for my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish as well as general education writing requirements. I can help improve writing skills and techniques, including organization, grammar, and essay structure.
I successfully completed AP government, U.S History, and English, and I was also enrolled in Honors Anatomy.
I was a tutor in high school and work very well with students of multiple ages and skill levels. I also volunteered as a First Year Orientation Guide for incoming freshman at the University that I counsel and work with throughout the year. I help them with everything from schoolwork to social problems.
HobbiesI have a very outgoing personality and would definitely describe myself as hands on and proactive. My educational interests include sociology and understanding social justice. I also enjoy writing and language. In my free time I write poetry and short stories. I also enjoy volunteering my time and trying new things.
