I come from a large family and as the second oldest of five siblings, I have had experience tutoring my younger brother and sisters. Also, as a JMU Interdisciplinary Social Studies major and education student, I have participated in a semester long practicum at Thomas Harrison Middle school working with students. I specialize in the various fields of social studies but also have extensive writing (English) experience. I decided to start tutoring for many of the same reasons I plan on entering the field of education. I enjoy discussing, analyzing, and helping students understand the concepts and framework involved in social studies.
