Additionally, I teach AP Physics I, AP Physics II, and AP Environmental Science at Lynchburg City Schools.
HobbiesWell, I'm an 'academic adventurer'. I love physics, but I don't to confine myself just to that subject. I want to be well rounded and, therefore, that's what I strive for. With that being said, I enjoy readings and learning about topics that range from electronic warfare all the way to biblical studies. I also enjoy thinking outside of the box. In a sense, the word 'conventional' is not in my vocabulary. I will solve a problem in the 'conventional' manner only if it's the most appropriate solution for the problem currently at hand (I'll allow you to define 'appropriate'). In other words, I'm speaking of the saying "think smarter, not harder". Moreover, I like coming up with new ways to solve old problems; I also like coming up with new ways to solve new/modern problems. Furthermore, I appreciate the value in making mistakes. Sometimes mistakes reveal avenues and solutions that wouldn't have been discovered had the mistake not been made. Lastly, I love being around people who love to learn and who are not satisfied with the 'status quo'.
