Education
After graduating from The Miller School of Albemarle in May 2009, attended Arizona State University for one semester. I am really close to my family and the distance was just too much, so I moved back home. I am currently studying at Blue Ridge Community College, as a Liberal Arts major. I am hoping to transfer to James Madison University this coming fall.
Experience
I have had success in tutoring my younger brother who is 13 years old. I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others learn and grow. I have taken, and done well in, classes in all the subject areas listed. All throughout my primary school years, I was involved in the Gifted and Talented program. In 3rd grade I was selected to attend the Summer Enrichment Program at the University of Virginia. During the summer of 2004, I traveled to Australia as a youth ambassador with the organization People to People.

Hobbies
I really enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I feel like I learn the most about a location or a culture if I am totally immersed in it. This summer I hope to finish my flight training and obtain my pilot's license. I am the type of person who can get along well with almost anyone, regardless of view, opinions, and differences.
