2nd year Graduate student at James Madison University. Already have my Bachelor's Degree in History/Interdisciplinary Social Science/Secondary Education. Finishing my last year on my Master's Degree in Secondary Education. Undergrad GPA was 3.0 and current Grad School GPA is 3.4.
Experience
I have tutored at local middle schools around Harrisonburg for struggling students in after-school programs. I also occasionally do peer tutoring with fellow history classmates at JMU. Teaching is my passion and I cannot wait to use what I have learned at JMU in a real high school classroom! Up to this point I have worked 40+ hours a week to pay for school while attending school full-time and now all that hard work has paid off where I do not have to work my final year. I want to take this opportunity to better prepare myself for my career as a teacher and what better way then tutoring!
