I would LIke to be a tutor because I would love to help someone struggling through school. I have worked with middle school students during the school year as well as high school. I succeeded in high school in honors and are working towards that here at James Madison. I have worked with high school students and tutored in the morning before high school classes. I have also worked with special needs children in varies subjects. Since I have graduated from high school I am very familiar with the curriculum and what high school has to offer. I also want to work in a school district when I graduate from college so I am familiar with this field.

Hobbies
I was a three sport varsity athlete in high school. I enjoyed playing soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and golfing in the spring. I was also part of a community service club in high school which took up a lot of my time. This summer I worked in a special needs school with children with autism. I really enjoyed my summer job. Before this summer I have had numerous jobs working with children of all different ages at summer camp. During the school year I would tutor middle school students as well in numerous subjects. Also during my senior year in high school I tutored during the morning hours and sometimes the lunch hours students who needed help in specific subjects. I am majoring in special education so I can work in a school when I graduate.
