I was an English, Spanish, and Algebra tutor my junior and senior years of high school through the Beta Club there. I took the SAT for the first time my junior year and scored a 1970. I took math classes up to the Calculus level, and my Pre-Calculus and Calculus were taken through Piedmont Virginia Community College. I took AP Literature, AP Language, AP European History, AP U.S. History, AP Psychology, AP Government, and AP Chemistry while in high school. My goal in being a tutor is to help teenagers enjoy learning the way I do, and for me that enjoyment always came from the feeling of finally understanding a concept I hadn't been able to grasp before.
