I have taught Sunday School classes at a church as conducted a bible study course in my home. I am somewhat fluent in Spanish since I am Puerto Rican. I love children. I was always behind in English because when I moved to Virginia I did not speak English. When I got to college I was told I shouldn't be an English Major because my writing skills were not great. But, with a tutor of my own, I have mastered the skill and I love writing. I know have a concentration in Creative Writing with my degree. I have taken multiple courses in creative writing. I think that I am fully capable at handling any challenge of rebellion a child may throw at me. I once had a job as a live-in Nanny for 4 children, ages one, three, five, and six. I had to get them up every morning, fed, and ready for school. I had to pick them up from the bus and help with homework and chores. I speak the language. I am also apart of James Madison University's Latino Student Alliance and we are always looking for opportunities to help the children in the Harrisonburg community.
