Experience
I tutored in high school through the National Honor Society. Nowadays I help out friends whenever they need it. I want to be a tutor because I know how frustrating it is to not understand the material in certain classes. Because I teach swim lessons over the summer to small children, I have also learned how to be very creative and resourceful when it comes to making learning interesting. As for relevant classes I've taken, I took three years of spanish in high school and one semester at JMU. I received A's in all of those classes. I also have taken multiple history classes as well as english classes. My writing has earned me high SAT scores, an invitation to the Honors Program at JMU, and an A in the class I took in a past semester. I have also taken multiple psychology classes and a geography class. I am currently in a chemistry class, and am earning a good grade. I am in the Honors Program at JMU, I was in the National Honor Society in high school as well as the National Latin Honor Society. I am in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars as well as Sigma Alpha Lambda.
