Private tutor in Harrisonburg, VA
Education
A graduate of the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA with a B.A. in Government (known as Political Science elsewhere). I was also a student at James Madison University during my senior year of high school. I received a MA in Political Science at West Virginia University with a 3.91 GPA. Afterward, I took a semester in political theory at LSU and left with a 4.0.
Experience
Former campaign staff of Representative Ron Paul of Texas (2007-08). A former employee of the Republican Party of Virginia (2006). Also studied with the Leadership Institute & the Republican National Committee. Former candidate for Harrisonburg City Council. Former statewide recognized blogger in the Virginia political blogosphere from 2008-2020. Right now I am a candidate for Virginia Senate District 2. I study political philosophy, history, and current events on a daily basis. In the spring of 2015, I served as a tutor of political science for a JMU student. Given our success, I was rehired for the fall semester as well. In the fall of 2016, I was a tutor for a student at JMU on the subject of world history. I currently have an approved political science Ph.D. research project in New Zealand. I'm just waiting to hear back about funding.
