I have never had official tutoring experience, but I have worked and taught in 1st grade and 5th grade classrooms. I have worked closely with the students, helping them with reading, writing, and other subjects. I have taken classes in each core subject (Math, Science, History, and Reading) and how to best work with children in those subjects. I have also taken Introduction to Early Childhood Education and studied Child Development. I have also been babysitting for many years, am CPR and First Aid Certified, and am very comfortable around students of all ages.
