Experience
I want to be a tutor because I've seen people throughout high school struggle and many students find it intimidating to approach classmates their age, their teacher, or parents about academic problems they have. I am working to be a teacher, so I feel an experience with tutoring would help me become more prepared for different challenges and levels of education I may face when in the teaching field. I would love to help students' motivation to a certain subject be strengthened by the fact they may begin to understand it and move forward in it. I have taken many math classes, in high school I took up to Calculus Honors and received straight A's, in college I have taken statistics, contemporary mathematics, and math for elementary school teachers. I also love writing and editing papers and writing them is fun to me. I took Dual Enrollment in high school, which is a college level course.
