Experience
I tutored in high school and have experience editing papers. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping people out and because a lot of people have trouble with their writing. I feel like I have the patience and ability to help these kids become better writers so that they won't need tutors in the future. I did an internship last summer with Random House Publishers and got a lot of experience with editing and writing. I have taken several writing classes, several english classes, an editing class, and communication classes. I was in the National Honors Society in High School and I have been on the Dean's List for every semester in college.
