Hi! I'm Cassie Bisconti and I'm a sophomore Psychology major at James Madison University. I have many relevant experiences that qualify me to tutor your son or daughter. Among them, and probably most important, is that I worked in a school for emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children for a summer internship during the summer of 2008. I was an instructional assistant and behavioral assistant in the classrooms. I helped with whatever work they needed help with and answered questions throughout the class period. Though I worked mostly with high school students, I also worked with middle and elementary when necessary. In addition, during high school I was part of National Honor Society and we provided tutoring sessions as part of our community service. I mostly worked with social sciences and math, but helped with english and science as well. I have taken basically every high school math and english class, as well as numerous AP classes in high school. I really enjoy tutoring because I'm helping people and the results are immediate. When the student gets it, you can see that light bulb go off and the smile on their face when they get their homework problem right.I feel as if I am really qualified for this position and have various qualities that will further your child's experience. I am very organized, which I think is necessary when tutoring. Also, I am pretty outgoing and don't mind meeting new people and I actually like public speaking. Anything else, you can just ask!
