Experience
I have tutored my younger brother who is two year younger than me throughout our youth. He struggled tremendously with studying and study skills and I helped him improve greatly on those. I performed above average on my SATs when I took them and the same with ACTs. Although I do not have much experience with tutoring, I have been a leadership counselor for the Make Your Mark on Madison Program and have volunteered with children. I would like to be a tutor to be able to help students who are in need. I have taken a wide range of classes throughout high school and three full years at a university. Other things that I believe make me highly qualified include holding an office within my sorority, I interned with the YMCA this past summer and I have been a team leader for CHOICES(a prospective student program).
