I love learning. And I'd like to share that love with students who might not necessarily find anything enjoyable about academic work. In the past,I have tutored students in Spanish and worked as a peer editor for writing classes. I have also assisted other students with algebraic, geometric, and chemistry related concepts. I have a different way of looking at concepts and problems than many teachers, which often makes more sense to other students. Also, my mother is an ESOL teacher in Fairfax County, so I know a lot about ESOL as well. I scored 2100 on the SAT: 770 verbal, 640 math, and 720 writing. I was a National Merit Commended Scholar. I got a 4 on each of the AP Chemistry, US History, World History, English Language, English Literature, and US Government exams.
