I want to be a tutor because I love working with youth. I have four younger cousins and watching them grow and learn is absolutely amazing. This Fall I interned at the Center for American Progress in their Campus Progress Division which is geared specifically toward youth. I have also previously worked as a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of America where I helped the kids with their homework after school.
