I have always been interested in teaching. In the past, I have worked as an assistant teacher and head teacher at a daycare in New York. I also have been a mentor during Big Brothers Big Sisters for the past 2 years. Since I am an Elementary Education major, I have had a lot of experience in the classroom teaching lessons to a full class, as well as one on one with individual students. During the past semester I tutored Algebra for the first time and really enjoyed the experience! I have worked with special needs children in a camp setting and had one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am a very good motivator because I like to keep things up beat and fun. Even though the subject may seem mundane, there is always something that you can relate it too. I believe organization is the key to all success. I am very reliable and a hard worker; once I am committed to something, I will not quit until I succeed.
