Hi! My name is Ginny Taylor and I am a junior at James Madison University and I enjoy helping people with school work or studying! I have great experience with the subject of History, either American history, World History, or even European history. I'm a History major with a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. I studied abroad for an entire semester in Florence, Italy and had the greatest time of my life :). I've tutored many kids of various ages and subjects. I have worked with kids as young as seven all the way up to high school students. In high school I tutored my Junior year, working with students on their geography, history, some science, and math skills. I have a lot of patience to explain and work with kids and try to get down to their level and let them know it is possible to learn something if you give it a try! Probably my strongest subject to tutor in would be history since I am a History major. I have a great background in different history classes, ranging from world history, to American history, European history, etc. I have a broad knowledge on history, especially high school or middle school level topics. I would be able to easily explain it and help a student see that history is fun and interesting. I have always enjoyed working with kids, starting when I was thirteen and had my first babysitting job, all the way through high school and my tutoring then. I also could help with basic Italian tutoring. I've taken four levels of Italian covering the basics and intermediate. I studied abroad in Italy for an entire semester and picked up a lot of the language.
